We are looking for a Mobile QA Engineer to join Praktika.

What we expect you to do:

— Perform manual testing of mobile applications for iOS and Android;

— Develop and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans;

— Document defects and track their resolution;

— Interact with development teams to discuss requirements and clarify details;

— Participate in the review of requirements and project documentation;

— Conduct regression testing before releases;

— Support and improve existing testing processes.

You would be a great fit for the role if you have:

— Experience working as a Mobile QA Engineer for at least 3 years;

— Knowledge of test design basics and methodologies for mobile application testing;

— Experience in developing and executing test cases;

— Skills in working with bug tracking systems;

— Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC);

— Attention to detail and critical thinking skills;

— Understanding and experience with API testing (websockets, Rest API);

— Good communication skills and ability to work in a team;

— Basic knowledge of SQL for verifying data in databases;

— Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.

Preferred Skills:

— Experience with mobile application test automation tools (e.g., Appium, Espresso, XCUITest) is a plus;

— Experience with cloud-based testing services for mobile applications (e.g., Firebase Test Lab, BrowserStack);

— Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team.
